PA Requirements
The Tambourine Machine does have available PA and mics for the circumstance that the venue does not provide audio.
We are not picky and just want something adequate to play out of, so the PA or mics do not need to match the
requirements exactly, just a guideline so that everyone is in the know. This PA outline for the standard bar-type venue.
no < than 2 15” mains w/ horns
Subwoofer preferred
2 center monitors
1 left monitor
1 right monitor
1 back monitor
Side Fill preferred
Input /Mic List
1. Kick – Beta 52
2. Bass – DI
3. Lead/Rhythm Guitar – SM 57
4. Lead Vox – SM 58
5. Backing/Lead Vox – SM 58/Super 55 – Stage Right
Depending on the size of the venue, we would mic the entire drum kit accordingly (Snare -57, Hi Hat – SM 81,
Overheads – MXL 990, Toms – 604’s). However a lot of the smaller bar/club venues don’t always necessitate the matter, just the kick drum will suffice.
