This was a song I wrote for one of my best friends that passed away of cancer in February. One of Meg's last requests was for me to play a song for her funeral and I wrote this the night before at about 3 in the morning. After the funeral I drove straight to the studio in Nashville and recorded it. Meg was an incredible person and role model to many. She was a cheerleader at the University of Alabama and was majoring in nursing. She was 21 years old. For more info visit: http://www.megingram.org

What a beautoful song, and such a nice tribute to your close friend. This was just sent to me, and it really hit home. My precious daughter, Megan, just passed away one month ago. She was only 26 years old. My heart is still hurting so badly, that I can hardly stand it. I love this song, and will think of Megan every time I hear it.
