This started out as purely a spoken word piece that was reactionary to how I was feeling about my own image and the pressure to look a certain way. I found the piece to be very cathartic...I sing this and realize how ridiculous our world's standard of beauty is, and then I feel beautiful again. I hope it can have the same effect on someone else.

#1 material. This piece could not only win the channel (alone with a few others I'm listening to again tonight) but it could also compete well against other genres. Nice work. (You'll see that I've posted this same comment on other pages... Just recognizing art that grabbed my attention... Yours is one in the top percentile).
