Awakening

This is a song I wrote last summer while recovering from back surgery (with the lack of proper care from my doctor, took 9 months for the wound to close). It was a grueling experience and I almost had to take time off of pharmacy school due to the pressure. I called it “Awakening” because this experience opened my eyes to what is important in life.
