Aieieu comes from Candomble, the Brazilian version of the Yoruba religion and languag. Aieieu is the salutation for Ochun, the queen of the rivers, beauty and love. She is the deity of female sexuality, love, gold, luxury, beauty and vanity. She cures evil with the water and her color is golden yellow. In this worship song we proclaim: "Queen of waters, our goddess... aieieu!"
