I wrote this late at night, sitting in my room in my family's house in Germantown, Tennesee.

It's about re-thinking breaking up and wanting things to be back to normal and to feel safe and loved again by someone who was once not only your boyfriend, but your best friend. It approaches the situation of a breakup from an honest perspective, and is actually a response to another song that was written about my by the person who is the subject of this song.

His song wasn't so nice. Oh well.
