After years of being in a school band he decided to pursue music as a career in 2003 while just a junior at Callaway High School. This is where he earned his first stamp of approval as an entertainer by dazzling the crowd and winning numerous talent shows with his quick wit, slick metaphors, and the “tricky” way he could change his rapping style up from slow and melodic to quick and staccato. His first chance at fame was with his high school group Tripple A and various moments to perform on stages.Since he debut on those talent show stages Tricky has dropped 4 independent self-made projects and worked with some of Hip Hop’s finest including 8ball and MJG, Mr. Magic of No Limit Records, The Young Bloods, and Pretty Willie. He has also had the honor of opening up for the likes of Yo Gotti, Lil Boosie, Webbie, Pleasure P of Pretty Ricky, Plies, and Lil Wayne on three separate occasions.
