  José Gerardo was the first of two children of Guerrero (school board employee) José Ocampo and Laura Pedroza. José Gerardo is of both mexican and Spanish heritage. He grew up in middle class area in México called Cuernavaca. José Gerardo attended the Swizz American Institute. Not a really Bright student. José Gerardo was part of the basket ball and voley ball team in high school as a captain. Pursuing music, he has recorded 4 cd's titled "iluisón" "Himno al amor" "When you wish"...

José Gerardo was part of the basket ball and voley ball team in high school as a captain. Pursuing music, he has recorded 4 cd's titled "iluisón" "Himno al amor" "When you wish" and "Volver a vivir" as a tenor singer. He is the producer of the lyric pop women group called Heaven Li. He is also a theatre, movie and tv series writer, director, and actor. In 2007, he filmed his first movie "El juego de lo prohibido", and in 2011 his second movie "Mi mejor regalo" both to be launched in 2013. He is now in pre production of: 1. Siempre te recordaré (I will always remember you), film,  La sexta (The sixth)  tv series, and  4. Amor en coma (Love in coma) Film.   He is also the producer of the mexican talent show TALENTO REAL"
