UNDIVIDED.CA started several years ago when Steven (guitar/vocals), Barry (drums/percussion) and Colin (bass) began writing their own songs under the name Watersland. Instead of looking for success in the local club scene, Watersland set up their own recording studio and focused on writing and recording. A few years later the addition of D.A. (keyboards) and Marg (Vocals) expanded the musical options. When members of the new Watersland started writing worship songs, they spun off a second band: UNDIVIDED.CA, a mixture of secular and Christian musicians from two denominations and three churches. Rob joined the songwriting team to work on the churchworld CD. “It made sense to ask Rob to join us, I was stealing all the best lines from his sermons for our songs”. Shortly before recording started Rob was called to pastor a church in another city. Distance has since limited his involvement in the project. When the recording of the first few songs neared completion Marg recruited Jeff from her church’s worship team to join undivided.ca as a second vocalist. To be continued ......
