Description
A man searches for himself, but is blocked by the space between the video’s frames. Only in your mind’s eye can he really find himself. Physically the two images of the man are never really together. In this modern day thaumatrope, two stop motion films were interlaced frame-by-frame playing with the persistence of vision or the eyes’ ability to preserve an image for roughly 1/20 of a second after the picture is removed. So the only time the man can really find himself is in our minds.
