In the year 2005, Amir Badamchi, the lead singer and guitarist of Mirage Town - the first Iranian Alternative Metal band, who wrote their songs in Farsi (Persian) language, dreamt of having a high quality and serious Rock band. Amir had this dream in spite of living in a country (Iran) where the government considers Western Music in any form as illegal and banned the same. Not ready to give up, Amir started to write songs with the help of Nima Najm, the only band member who was with him from the beginning. They have grown up together and continue to live in Tehran. They were in the continuous process of testing and experimenting with the various genres and sub-genres of Rock & Metal so that they could choose a proper genre for the band. The reason behind this being, almost every Rock band in Iran is still writing/composing/playing songs of 80's style. But Mirage Town made a decision to take “the road not taken” in order to bring a change in Iranian Rock music scene. Nevertheless, they still love and have their faith in old-school Rock. That’s why they placed 2 tracks (Wasted Man & Outro) in the album. Though there are 2 tracks in English, people need to understand that writing lyrics in Farsi (or maybe any other languages other than English) and to add vocals to them in a Rock/Metal style, is possibly the most difficult (and tiresome) part of the song composing. The track Harfe Man (Persian for My Word) can be identified as the song which laid the foundation stone of the band's genre.
