we're all lost on these one way streets that will never cross driving parallel to one another, on this cool evening in early summer our eyes have connected. but we're still just two strangers, misdirected. where are we? i dont know, just shut up and follow the machine it doesnt have teeth, but its speaking quite clearly to me you and i, blinded by these city lights motion sickness from all the sudden movements that we've made tonight staring up at the sky, not paying attention on this late night drive mesmerized by these structures of such great heights we'll look into eachothers eyes, and right now we feel so alive we bleed from these fresh bites, but its quite alright. according to this shitty gps, we're no where near the route that we thought we knew best. we're lost with no address, no where near where we guessed. this seems to happen all of the time, things play out differently in my mind. and this case is just like the rest, because you'll stay straight and i'll make the next left. and im lost again. i'd give anything just to get back on track again. we're all lost.
