This Place Is Not Your Home

I originally wrote and recorded this song in 1995. My inspiration was my father-in-law. My mother-in-law, had passed away about a year before. Right after Labor Day, they'd disappear south. Dean passed away two years later. This song was written about that sadness, but also the journey that Dean, and all of us, make through life ... and that we really only have one real "home".
