Dumb is song that deals with the snap judgements that we are forced to make on people and the how the disposable nature of modern life has started to extend to how we treat people. People tend to be drawn to the chord progression of the chorus and JP has admitted that this is one of the few songs that he can't figure out a decent harmony for.
