No Middle Ground

This song represents the dichotomy I faced growing up as a tree hugger in a coastal logging community of British Columbia (not to mention marrying a logger). It is a haunting ballad which has become a crowd favourite with many audiences, including those in my wee hometown! As in most of my writing, I love to throw in twists and this one leaves one with a sense that although we fight over the land, trees, etc., perhaps we are fighting for the same thing and, therefore, don't need to fight at all.
