Long Hair, Fake Rain

This song is about a dance performance I saw at the Tang Dynasty Dinner Theater in China. The dance originated because one of the emperors of the Tang Dynasty woke up one night after dreaming that he had been in heaven watching a dance put on by all the angels for him. Unable to shake the image, he called to his favorite concubine, and the two of them spent the night learning the dance and recreating it so that it could be performed for years to come.
