The window was broken so was she it was murder in the first degree They saw him running or so they'd say But he was no where near that day His timing was bad he had the wrong face he said the wrong prayers, he was the wrong race So they threw him in jail while waiting for trial Because he was poor, he'd wait along while And the whole wide world was watching His DA they'd say would commit any sin to get re-elected, he needed a win And the lawyer they gave him he met just one time Three days before trial for this murderous crime "I'm innocent." he said.
