Misty Waters

Misty Waters is a song about addiction and the continual road to recovery. I did not share it with anyone for quite some time; it was far too personal. After running out of material at a performance at a local university, I started to play Misty Waters. The crowd response was amazing, and I realized at that point the powerful nature of the song. What seemed like a simple and personal song to me, became quite clearly a song to which people could relate.
