This is song about a girl who has a very difficult life. She grows up to be angry and plagued by her past. It's fictional but I'm sure true to someone. The sound reminds me of an old western town with dust and horses and heat.

There once was a girl who fell down on this world smack dab right in the middle of a fire. The man she called her paw he left and took it all and now her ma was worn and old and tired. Well they'd walk the streets alone no place to call their home. They'd beg and plead and steal when they weren't given. But the girl knew deep inside that thing she couldn't hide would free her from the nightmare she was livin. One day out on the road two men her ma had owed came down with heavy hands to take her. But the girl who's eye had spied the gun held to his side reached out with trembling hand and pulled the trigger Chorus She said "One shot! I'll give you all I've got! I'll teach you not to disrespect and hate me! One shot! I'd rather live than not. Surrender to the gun that now will save me!" So the girl ran far away always remembering the day she took a life to save hers and her mother's. But the fire that burned inside always leading as her guide delivered her to fight a war for others. Now standing on the line no fear would cross her mind. She'd seen it all before and now was ready. As the bombs came swirling by, she heard a painful cry. The cry inside was hers and now was heavy.
