The Surface

Imagine for a moment that you have lived underground all of your life. For one brief second, you see the surface of a utopian world. What would you think? What would you hear? It occurred to me that one would be in awe at the sight of a new land. Now this viewpoint seems a bit obtuse and absurd, but just take a moment and put yourself in this scenario.
