Description
A folky acoustic blues tune with a kick of electric guitar solo and conga slaps. Vocalist Lucy gives great emotion and warmth to this simple yet hearty piece about not knowing where you're going or what you're up to, but knowing that you're headed in the right direction
Lyrics
I don't shy from bright lights, I don't cover my ears, When sirens go screeching by or subway trains draw near. I live in little kingdoms of sidewalk jungle sprawl I weave among the masses, and the seeping sidewalk crawl You will find me standing there deaf and unaware. My senses are inebriate with fumes and city dust Streets full of conversation, skyscrapers, and colored rugs. And at night when neon lights burn just like flares, You'll find me amid the dim soaking up the blare You will find me standing there deaf and unaware I'm so tired of wasting time when i got nothing on my mind. Try and stay occupied not so easy in a bind. Who am I to complain?
