His wife dies off and without strength he is left no choice, but to kneel before the last ruler this world will see. A man who turns everything to fire and ash. most lyrics have double meanings metaphorically speaking.

Amidst a lonesome voice lying next to another corpse, they’re always left divided in this wretched world. What remains is just waste, as far as the eye can see only death consumes the land. No conscience with black lungs and soon we’ll all be breathing ash. Assuming we fall into his grasp. You’ll never see the light of day, you just await your burial dismembered to no avail. Now I’m left with you to hold and adore in this endless display of human debris and soon we’ll all be breathing ash left to live so sparingly. So infectious with terror and decaying to the touch.
