Lyrics

“Behind the Hedges” by d. Worthington; composed & arranged by e. Depperschmidt Let me humanize As I look into your eyes To avoid the mugging. Let us realize. Is this a hobby, is this a dream. It’s not too late to redeem. To decide to take a ride and start the healin’ Chorus: May be behind the hedges But I aint lost. A little rough around the edges. Just got some wires crossed. But you know the man I am. Barely held together. Baby give me one more night. The same as Forever. Oh baby don’t you know I’m still recovering. From all the noise in my head And all the struggling. Maybe we should take it slow keep it casual let it grow. Aint it time for you to see The little child inside of me. Chorus: May be behind the hedges But I aint Lost. A little rough around the edges. Just got some wires crossed. But you know the man I am. Barely held together. Baby give me one more night. The same as Forever. Now you’re okay, you’re just fine. But you know I’m borderline. Maybe we can find a way To let this feeling stay. To see the light Just close your eyes. Baby let me humanize. It’s time to realize. Let’s start the healin Chorus (x 2) May be behind the hedges But I aint Lost. A little rough around the edges. Just got some wires crossed. But you know the man I am. Barely held together. Baby give me one more night. The same as Forever.
