Ikiritama

The main character is oppressed by what is unspoken in his once perfect, and now dysfunctional and harrowing relationship. Dubiosity begets frustration, as he regrets seeing the one he regarded worthy of the ultimate sacrifice, rendered to a bitter silence, while eying him not too differently. The climax gets rather ugly, so it will have to be left for free and individual interpretation (i.e. - the exact def. of 'to leave one hard'...).
