When will my people return, i have been waiting so long, ive stood here and looked through the hourglass of time, ive walked my limit from the skies, and yet i dont feel the need, to sleep tonight. when will the prophets be clear, we never wanted this life, and so let us travel to what will seem like a thousand years, we'll walk and we'll dance upon the sun, but why do i feel that this life isnt real, my TV it tells me its so, and why do i try to go back to the sky when my school teacher says i cant go, when will our lifespans return, we only came from the stars, weve searched for gold and soared upon the realms of space, weve dance and weve dance on the sun, in hindsight i feel im ok, ive always sought after truth, so what do i do when the puzzle comes to me in the shape and the form of our past, and why do i feel that heaven isnt real, my preacher he tells me its so, and how do i know hell is not in my soul, because life tells me hell's in this world, and i saw a wind coming from the north, as a great cloud with flashes of fire and brilliance all around it, and within it, from within the fire, there was a radiance like a glowing halo, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and elijah when up into the heavens by a whirlwind, When will my people return, i have been waiting so long, ive stood here and looked through the hourglass of time, ive walked my limit from the skies, and now I feel the need to fly, fly, fly, and now that i know where our lives have come from, my mind seems no longer undone, and what will i do when my judgment day comes, ill dance and ill dance upon the sun.
