I composed Asante the song in 2007 when Life was not going on well for me, I was out of school and joined my brother and a band he was working with. The band went down and I had no job, homeless and no parents to go back to. All I had was Hope in God. That’s when as I played the keyboard in our local church I felt in my spirit that all that God wanted me to do was praise him. And he gave me this song.
