This song is about being a misunderstood youth. When the world looks at you and tells you you're not good enough, simply because you don't fit a certain description. It's also about being able to recognize that you're not the first one to feel that way, and so you're never really as outcast as you feel. Lastly, it's about the ability to tell the world off because at the end of the day, you've gotta be happy being you.
