Drothers

I wrote this song in a Chicago park. I had come to visit friends, but had missed the party by a day. I wouldn't be able to reach anyone until morning. I wandered around Ukrainian village, my body tired, but I had nowhere to sleep. My mind fixated on a lover who had left me for a junkie. My desire to see them both dead wrote the first draft. Later, I decided that making it the opposite of a murder ballad would probably be much more interesting and less creepy.
