Ivan (the Hurricane Song)

This song was written in the dark noontime living room of my boarded-up South Florida home as we were anticipating heading North to escape Hurricane Ivan. After having stayed around through two or three or twelve hurricanes in a row, we were fed up, and this song was me fantasizing about having the ability to actually talk Ivan out of coming around.
