Waiting for the Wrecking Ball

This song was inspired by a dream about Lucinda Williams singing the chorus onstage in a post-apocalyptic world. It evolved into more of a metaphorical song about a relationship falling apart in a dilapidated house. I still like the original post-apocalyptic version. You can make up your own interpretations.
