Connected

Safe and Sound is about connection, hence the title of the fourth, hard-driving, heavy-hitting song. Like Arcadia, “Connected” is much more aggressive than the first two songs and even includes some perfectly placed guitar leads. As a chapter to this album, the song is part of an overall story that touches on contemplating cause and effect and striving to realize selflessness.
