Verse 1: For a long time I didn't smile, but I turned that frown upside down. Demons met me with different faces, money, music, life led to different places. In my life, across time, trying to work, trying to grind, each day was hard but I bided my time. Went through hell just to shine. Move back home and I started again, had to chill with people that I called my friends, Now I got a fat gut and I got no friends and I'm sitting here on a music binge.
