One day my mom looked me in the eye and said to me, "Amanda, remember my words. Love ain't enough. He's gotta have some money. It's just as easy to fall in love with a rich person as it is to fall in love with a poor person". Although my mom denies that this conversation actually happened, my mom's joking advice was the inspiration for this song, Love Ain't Enough. Thanks Mom.
