Know Your Heart

I wrote this after I had broken up with my girl friend, we were sitting on her bed and she had asked me why I had said the words "I love you" if we weren't going to be together anymore. That's when she told me next time that i'm with someone, to "know my heart" before I speak, because the words I love you are too precious and valuable to waste.
