Transient souls talking on their phones, everybody's got someplace to go. Their eyes are fixed on the end of the road, but who can say where it ends? And no one knows where it goes. It makes sense, I suppose, to pretend that you have control -- but it's out of your hands, if true be told. Some call it fate. There's no debate. I'm sure you can relate. Be careful how you set the pace, because at this rate we'll run out of things to say. And keep in mind, that at the end of the day, everything you say can and will be use against you. I met a girl last night, and her teeth were white. Her hair was golden, and her eyes were bright. She took me inside, and showed me around the room, but at the end of the night there just wasn't much left to do. So, with no place left to go I headed down that same road -- still don't know where it goes, but I like to pretend that I know how it ends. I take a breath and hold it in. I try my best, but much to my chagrin I have to let it go to get it back again. Breathe in, breathe out, climb to the top of your lungs and shout! Where it ends all depends on where it began!!
