Basically this song was generated from my personal experiences during my first deployment in Iraq. There are so many things that happen during deployment. So u gotta stay true to yourself and remember why u chose to join the Army at a time of war. Growing up I took so many wrong paths, I felt like I had no where else to go. I needed a 24 hour change and the military gave me that opportunity.
