Lyrics
Stiff Grip (First Verse) So go ahead a say that you really didn't mean this way hey-hey-hey. The sound enlight of you could dim the room. And go ahead a pray, for all those sins you've made. And the ones you didn't mean to cast out on in the first place. And go ahead a take a stiff, stiff grip from the top, top shelf cause you know no body's lyin to you tonight. Your already in the mood. (Chorus) Whatchu gonna do, when that whiskey bottle runs through you? Who ya gonna fight tonight? Who ya gonna cuss out? Who ya gonna lie about? Who ya gonna get to tonight?...Just to make your way through. (Second Verse) So go ahead and say that you're a mean son-of-a-bitch when you've been drinkin hey-hey-hey-hey. The sound enlight of you could deafen the room. And go ahead and pray, for how those kids were raised. Yeah, the ones you never laid a light hand on in the first place. So go ahead and take a stiff, stiff grip from the top, top shelf cause you know no body's lyin to you tonight. We'll put you in the mood! (Chorus) Whatchu gonna do, when that whiskey bottle runs through you? Who ya gonna fight tonight? Who ya gonna cuss out? Who ya gonna lie about? Who ya gonna get to tonight?...Just to make your way through. (Bridge Ending) Through the night I am your ghost. Go ahead make it through the night. I, I am the ghost of who you use to be. I said it won't matter. When his left hands shaking and his right leg stops. When his lungs start breathing, his heart rate drops. O!
