Mid-tempo driving guitar riffs, balls-out vocals, and big open drums lend to a hallowed atmosphere as Serpent slithers the listener through different movements, climaxing in a vocal refrain and a 6/8 outro. Serpent is one of Diablo Royale's more "refined" songs to date.
