Pray the Angels

I had just received the news that my best friend, a friend I have had since grade school had been diagnosed with a debilitating and possibly fatal disease. As my heart broke, the words to this song poured out. I wrote it in under an hour. Since recording the song I've seen grown men cry while listening, and total strangers have written me to say how it got them through the death of their own loved ones. "Pray the Angels" is one of my most requested songs.
