Julie Kay Clark’s music is mix of a mellow Janis Joplin and a girly Bob Dylan. She’s a philosopher (People Are Like Dogs…she was a veterinarian before becoming a songwriter), a comedian (Big Bellied Man) and a storyteller (The Gift) all wrapped into one. Fly Free is the title cut for an entire album that concerns self-evolution for women. How we can break out of our cocoons of convention and fear and fly free to be the unique and special human beings were meant to be!
