Description
'Danvers Nights' is a track that tells the tale of how I met my wife at a friends Halloween bash. Coincidentally, 'The Nation', a local North Shore cover and originals group that I played with for 10 years was hired to perform at an old fashioned rocking house party. I like to think of it as this albums country/rock ballad.
Lyrics
DANVERS NIGHTS by: Sean GP Murphy I couldn’t hear you coming But I could see the lights Then you walked into the room And right up by my side You showed up in red like a devil for that Halloween masquerade You were dancing and joking away It was my lucky day So I looked and caught your eye You winked and then you laughed at me and then you showed a smile It wasn’t long till we held each other tight and stayed up there all night So time keeps a rolling along Always think of those days gone by But someday they’ll all be gone and I’ll remember that night Those Danvers nights Remember those Danvers nights Those were the night baby Remember those nights I’m still seeing the lights From those Danvers nights yeah
