Dry September is an LA-based band at the forefront of rock’s New Populism movement. Frontman David Tokaji has recently been nominated for Singer-Songwriter of the Year by both the LA Music Awards and the Independent Singer-Songwriter Association. The band has been nominated 2008 Band of the Year (Roots) by the Hollywood Music Awards. Their songs tell stories of resistance, community, and reform--tales of the downtrodden outcasts and underdogs among us.
