Description

When i was 17 my father died of lung cancer at age 46. My dreams were shattered, everything changed. He never saw my high school graduation, he never saw my college graduation, he didn't attend my wedding or ever see his grand children. I never knew him as a man and most of all he wasn't there to guide me when i needed him most. Too many times i had wished he were there to advise me and keep me on a solid path. Unfortunately he was not. Sung by hired vocalist.

Lyrics

Miss You Father Sometimes - I just can’t remember Memories – Are all I have Sometimes I wish - That we could all start over I really miss the fun we had Sometimes I thought - That as I grew older I’d be able to forget the past But still I find myself searching for closure Oooh – I can’t find it dad And I prey to god - pray to god Why did you take him? Why don’t you make me understand? Oooh - I miss you father Oooh- I miss you dad I wish that I, could have know you better Oooh - Some kind of luck I have It's been a long time Since I've seen you father And it's been a long time Since I've heard you laugh Where are you now that I need you father? Oooh – Because I lost my path And I prey to god - pray to god Why did you take him? Why don’t you make me understand? Oooh - I miss you father Oooh- I miss you dad I wish that I, could have know you better Oooh - Some kind of luck I have And not a single day goes by That I don’t stop to wonder Have you really left my side? Because your in my heart Oooh - I miss you father Oooh- I miss you dad I wish that I, could have know you better Oooh - Some kind of luck I have It's been a long time Since I've seen you father And it's been a long time Since I've heard you laugh Where are you now that I need you father?
