Description

This is the second song I wrote and recorded for my upcoming EP. The song deals with having to do things on your own without waiting for anyone who will only in the end stop you from achieving your dreams. To go out and do it instead of talking about it, and to overcome the notion that you need anyone, realizing your self worth, and not to get hung up on an unhealthy relationship. It's definitely a sing along.

Lyrics

It was all i saw, the clouds began to fall thunder crashed down i had to face it all got up today got up and looked around from the place you left me bleeding on the ground like fire flying through crimson skies your lies inside me burned but as the earth to the sun I'm the only one with life left to learn And ill do this on my own don't turn back i wont be here waiting for you And ill take these broken bones cant hold back ill call this life my own I've been alone for all this time but i wont look to your eyes my heart says its alright alright and alone this world crumbles round my face as the sun will shine unraveling our fate got my cold iron shoes in an endless race betrayed, dismayed, never saved, my pride is all i gave betrayed, dismayed, never saved, but my heart paved the way And ill do this on my own don't turn back i wont be here waiting for you And ill take these broken bones can't hold back ill call this life my own and i know that it's alright as I'm looking to the sky cause i wont look to your eyes no my blood it will run dry this acidic pain may rust but those thoughts will turn to dust and I'm the only one i can trust i can trust And ill do this on my own don't turn back i wont be here waiting for you And ill take these broken bones can't hold back ill call this life my own been alone for all this time and i wont look to your eyes i know in my heart its alright alright
