Description

I wrote 'Her Kiss' in the summer of 2010 after an extremely rough separation from my wife of 6 years. I have been trying to pursue a career in music for about 3 years now and the road, as I am sure some of you know and can relate, can be a very rocky road to travel. I found myself sitting in hotel rooms across the country thinking about my dream, family and her kiss that I fell in love with 6 years ago tomorrow. Check my website out www.davidmichaelmusic.com

Lyrics

I woke up this morning and she was gone. The note on her pillow said it all. It said I love you baby. But don't get me wrong, we've grown apart so I'm moving on. (pre-chorus) You know I'll miss her smile;the simple things she did. I thought an everlasting love, wouldn't end like this. (Chorus) She left me all alone. It hurts so bad but I'll move on. I guess this is how it ends. Still feel her touch and her sweet red lips. It's a little piece of heaven that I can't resist. But the first thing that's on my list and out of all of things I miss, it's her kiss. It's her kiss. I found an old photograph. I remember the times we had and how we laughed. I tried to sleep but was up all night thinking when things got rough, Through the good times and bad, she walked out when times got tough She'll probably do fine, She'll probably do well. It still tears me up inside the thought of her with someone else. (Chorus) She left me all alone. It hurts so bad but I'll be strong. I guess this is how it ends. Still feel her touch and her sweet red lips. It's a little piece of heaven that I can't resist. But the first thing that's on my list and out of all of things I miss, it's her kiss. It's her kiss. I still miss her smile, the funny thngs she did. I thought an everlasting love wouldn't end like this. She left me all alone. It hurts so bad but I'll be strong. I guess this is how it ends. But I remember dancing in the pale moonlight. Like young love drinking sweet red wine. So many things we did, but out of all of the things I miss, It's her kiss, Its her kiss.
