The Rescue

The Rescue is the third song on A Brief History and serves as the centerpiece for the entire EP. The song has a wide dynamic range and builds to a compelling climax at the end of the second chorus. The lyrics continue with the tone of social and political consciousness, questioning the role we all play within the system and our acceptance of the aspects of modern life that we have little or no capacity to control.
