Description
You are the Moon is an Adalusian-Esque love song of passion, and longing, depth and mystery. The psuedo clave is one of my own design I call Batley-Clave over 2 bars and the song, whilst not phrygian (or diminished to Locrian), uses the minor second implications over the (rythm 1 to 5) composition to retain that sound of eastern-promise. The majority of the heavy lifting is done through through the poetry and vocal delivery with the pumping bass driving the sense of tension and passion.
