i wrote this song about the pharmaceutical manipulation of child stars in hollywood. it was inspired by the life of judy garland. the verses are a conversation between the starlet and the powers-that-be. the final verse displays a final portrait of the child starlet, now an adult and the unfortunate product of this insidious exploit.
