yours or mine

I was in the parking lot of the studio, waiting for the owner to show up so we could make my new record. The phrase "empty lot" stuck into my mind, and the feeling of helplessness - just walls between me and those microphones. I wrote this song and a day later it ended up being one of my favorites on "the other side." I'm so glad he was so late after all!
