I've always been a keen observer of life and how we collectively operate within the world. This song was inspired by an observation that pretty much anything we understand about this world is both gloriously and often sadly ephemeral. It uses somewhat iconoclastic, metaphorical and chaotic imagery to convey themes of racism, patriotism, religion, madness, the media and the soul's journey all wrapped in a catchy little "ephemeral" tune of it's own.
